Boot Options



Standard (non-booted):
Many people prefer a non-booted cable assembly over a booted assembly. A non-booted assembly takes up less room in a high density environment and is easier to plug in and out.
Booted:
The booted cable gives the assembly additional strain relief. It also makes it easier to remove the cable from a bundle due to its snag-free tab.

Molded:
A molded assembly has great strain relief properties without the added bulk of a traditional boot. It is easy to plug in and out. The molded style does not have the snag-free tab for easy removal from a bundle. Molded cables have a twenty piece minimum per color. Molded cables may also have a somewhat longer lead time, and usually ship from our California assembly plant.

A molded assembly has great strain relief properties. The molded snagless style has the snag-free tab for easy removal from a bundle. Molded cables have a twenty piece minimum per color. Molded cables may also have a somewhat longer lead time, and usually ship from our California assembly plant.
