It's made of PC + ABS material to provide heavy duty UV and waterproof protection of your fiber optic connectors.  It is UV resistant and also offers superior crush resistance. It is compatible with LC duplex and SC simplex adapters without a flange.  This 8 adapter fiber optic distribution box includes wire management, a hinged removable 8 splice fiber tray, 8 splice sleeves, excellent sealing strip and rubber grommets to help seal out moisture and dust.  It also includes a locking door with key to help protect from anyone accessing the box.  This box is also great for indoor installations such as warehouses and factories where lots of dust and potential contamination takes place.
