Our QuickTreX® Weatherproof IP68 Connectorized HMFOC OptiTip® Cable Assemblies are made with the highest quality cable and components. They are designed to fit flawlessly with FlexNAP and OptiSheath® MDU and Fiber Distribution terminals often seen in fiber to the antenna or other waterproof connection installations. We start with genuine HMFOC OptiTip® connectors and precision terminate them to genuine Corning® SST-Drop™ Cable. Our termination process delivers maximum physical contact for consistently low insertion loss and excellent return loss characteristics across the entire 12 fiber interface. Our assemblies are always Proudly made in the USA and include a full test report.
The OptiTip® assembly is designed for use in outside plant fiber access networks with FlexNAP and OptiSheath® MDU and Fiber Distribution terminals. This innovative cable assembly solution provides enhanced design flexibility, increased deployment speed and reduced installation cost. The OptiTip® connector is the key enabler for quick connect of up to 12 fibers at a time. The connector is based on the field proven MTP® connector technology encapsulated in a hardened package suitable for use in any environment. A male (pinned) version and a female (non-pinned) version are easily joined to make a watertight terminal or in-line connection. Factory installation and testing ensures reliable, low optical loss on all fibers.
These assemblies are rated for almost all outdoor applications. The Corning SST-Drop™ dielectric cable used for these assemblies offer the ease of installation of standard ALTOS cables in an easyaccess, single-tube design. The dielectric version eliminates any bonding and grounding requirements. The cables are RDUP (RUS) listed and offer exceptional crush resistance. The Loose tube construction and all-dielectric jacket are water proofed, rodent resistant and fungus resistant.
This cable is suitable for underground installation, overhead lashed to a guide wire, or secured to a building or other permanent outdoor structure. The heavy duty polyethylene jacket is also UV rated so it can be exposed outdoors where there is no threat of rodent damage or blunt force damage.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
