Fiber Optic Pigtail Kits

Fiber Optic Pigtails are designed to fusion splice your backbone or main fiber optic cable run to (put it in simple terms) a patch cable with only one end.  You strip off the jacket and cladding of both your main fiber run and the pigtail and then use a fusion splicer to fuse the glass together.

We offer our fiber optic pigtail kits in 6 strands and 12 strands.  We offer LC, SC, and ST connectors for multimode and LC UPC, LC APC, SC UPC, and ST UPC for singlmode.  For our singlmode pigtail kits we also offer ribbon cable for MTP splices. 

All of our fiber optic pigtail kits are available in the following fiber types: 62.5/125 micron (OM1) multimode fiber, 50/125 micron (OM3) multimode fiber, 50/125 micron (OM4) multimode fiber, and 9/125 micron singlemode fiber. 

Our fiber optic pigtail kits includes ceramic connector ferrules which are high quality and 100% factory tested.

Multimode: Insertion Loss <0.3dB / > 35dB Reflection Loss

Singlemode UPC: Insertion Loss <0.3dB / > 50dB Reflection Loss

Singlemode APC: Insertion Loss <0.3dB / > 60dB Reflection Loss

All of our pigtail kits include color coded strands for easy fiber optic strand identification, mapping, and sequencing, and clam shell packaging for quick and easy storage.
