The QuickTreX® MPO/MTP® Singlemode APC Type A Fiber Optic Coupler is designed to provide reliable, low-loss connectivity for high-density fiber optic networks. Featuring a Key Up to Key Down (Opposed Keys) configuration, this Type A adapter is the industry-standard solution for MPO/MTP® backbone cabling systems used in data centers, telecommunications networks, and enterprise fiber infrastructure.
Engineered for precision alignment and optimal optical performance, this coupler securely mates MPO/MTP® connectors while maintaining proper polarity throughout structured cabling installations. The green housing provides easy identification for Singlemode APC applications, simplifying network deployment and maintenance.

Why Use a Type A (Key Up to Key Down) MPO/MTP® Coupler?
Type A MPO/MTP® couplers feature a Key Up to Key Down orientation, commonly referred to as Opposed Keys. This industry-standard polarity method is widely used in structured cabling systems and MPO/MTP® backbone networks, providing a straightforward and reliable approach to maintaining fiber polarity throughout the cabling infrastructure.
Type A couplers are commonly deployed in data centers, telecommunications networks, and enterprise environments where MPO/MTP® trunk cables, cassette modules, and patching systems require standard polarity management.

Product came in on time and under budget. The only thing that I had any concerns with was the state of the packages on arrival. Some of them appeared as if they had been dragged a few miles before being dropped off. That is More on the shipping side than LANshack. Fortunately, they were insulated well enough that it doesn't appear anything was damaged.

I ordered a pre terminated cable with pulling eyes and it was very good quality, pulled through conduit well and after making the connection it functions at 100%. Also shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

One less worry
