QuickTreX® 8mm Strain Relief Boots are specifically designed for larger diameter shielded Ethernet cable, providing superior cable protection while creating a professional snag-resistant finished assembly. Unlike standard boots that are often too small for shielded cable, these boots feature an enlarged 8mm cable opening to accommodate the thicker jackets commonly found on Cat6A, Cat6E, and Cat5E shielded cable.
Designed for seamless compatibility with QuickTreX® Shielded RJ45 Modular Plugs, these boots help reduce stress on the connector by supporting the cable where it enters the plug. The integrated snagless tab protects the locking latch during installation and removal, making cable routing through racks, patch panels, conduits, and cable management systems easier while reducing the chance of broken clips.
Manufactured from durable PVC, these strain relief boots are ideal for professional installers building custom shielded Ethernet patch cables for data centers, enterprise networks, industrial automation, security systems, and other demanding networking environments. Available in multiple colors for easy cable identification, they're supplied in convenient bags of 50.

This is the second time ordering from LANshack. Both times were great experiences. If you are a DIY person who has tried to but RJ-45 connectors on cat cable you can imagine how great it is to just do the measurements and avoid that brain damage. Great service and good quality product.
