888-568-1230Our Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies are designed for durability and performance in demanding outdoor environments. These assemblies feature a UV- and crush-resistant jacket with water-blocking gel to protect against moisture infiltration, making them ideal for installations exposed to extreme weather conditions.
They can be installed underground in conduit, overhead lashed to a guy wire, or secured to a building or permanent structure. Their rugged design ensures reliability for applications such as headend terminations to a fiber backbone and intra-building backbone connections. For installations in conduit, a minimum 2" diameter conduit is recommended to accommodate the assembly breakout.
Note: Polyethylene (PE) OSP cables are restricted to a maximum indoor run of 50 feet due to fire code regulations.
Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Assemblies are designed for reliable performance in demanding outdoor environments. Featuring a UV- and crush-resistant jacket with water-blocking gel, these cables provide superior protection against moisture, temperature fluctuations, and physical stress.
They are suitable for installation in underground conduit, lashed to a guy wire for aerial applications, or secured to a permanent outdoor structure. These cables are commonly used in headend termination to fiber backbones and intra-building backbones. For conduit installations, a minimum 2" diameter conduit is recommended to accommodate the assembly breakout.
Note: Polyethylene (PE) OSP cables are restricted to a maximum 50-foot indoor run due to fire code regulations.
This OM1 multimode fiber assembly features a 62.5/125-micron core, making it an excellent choice for legacy networking environments and industrial applications that require reliable data transmission over short to medium distances.
The OM2 multimode assembly offers improved bandwidth compared to OM1, supporting higher-speed transmissions over moderate distances. It is ideal for industrial networking and local outdoor fiber connections.
Designed for higher performance, the OM3 fiber optic assembly enables 10Gb Ethernet connectivity over extended distances. Its 50/125-micron core allows for greater efficiency in high-speed networking applications.
OM4 multimode fiber provides enhanced bandwidth and supports longer transmission distances for high-speed applications such as 40Gb and 100Gb Ethernet. It is ideal for environments that require robust outdoor fiber connectivity with minimal signal loss.
For long-haul and high-bandwidth applications, the singlemode version of this assembly ensures minimal attenuation and maximum efficiency. It is commonly used in telecommunications, enterprise networking, and data center connections.

This cable is designed for underground conduit installation. If direct burial is needed, we recommend using an armored cable for added protection.
Yes, it can be lashed to a guy wire for aerial deployments.
A 2" diameter conduit is recommended to accommodate the assembly breakout.
Due to fire code restrictions, Polyethylene (PE) OSP cables are limited to a maximum indoor run of 50 feet.
