Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Assembly

Our Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies are designed for durability and performance in demanding outdoor environments. These assemblies feature a UV- and crush-resistant jacket with water-blocking gel to protect against moisture infiltration, making them ideal for installations exposed to extreme weather conditions.

They can be installed underground in conduit, overhead lashed to a guy wire, or secured to a building or permanent structure. Their rugged design ensures reliability for applications such as headend terminations to a fiber backbone and intra-building backbone connections. For installations in conduit, a minimum 2" diameter conduit is recommended to accommodate the assembly breakout.

Note: Polyethylene (PE) OSP cables are restricted to a maximum indoor run of 50 feet due to fire code regulations.

Overview of Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Assemblies

Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Assemblies are designed for reliable performance in demanding outdoor environments. Featuring a UV- and crush-resistant jacket with water-blocking gel, these cables provide superior protection against moisture, temperature fluctuations, and physical stress.

They are suitable for installation in underground conduit, lashed to a guy wire for aerial applications, or secured to a permanent outdoor structure. These cables are commonly used in headend termination to fiber backbones and intra-building backbones. For conduit installations, a minimum 2" diameter conduit is recommended to accommodate the assembly breakout.

Note: Polyethylene (PE) OSP cables are restricted to a maximum 50-foot indoor run due to fire code regulations.
