Our one-of-a-kind QuickTreX® Custom Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies are made in the USA and have a longstanding reputation of 25+ years for premium quality and reliability that cannot be beat. We have a strict quality control manufacturing process and are ISO 9001 certified.  We also offer the easiest ordering process, fastest production times and transit times.

Our Outdoor (OSP) Ultra Thin Micro Armored Pre-Terminated Hybrid Fiber Optic Assembly with Power allows you to run your pre-terminated fiber optic assembly and power all in one conveniently jacketed cable.  Our Hybrid assemblies save you time and money by avoiding field terminations and also by eliminating the need to run 2 separate cables.  Supply data and power to your equipment such as cameras, antennas, radios, and other equipment.  These assemblies are perfect for Fiber-To-The-Antennae (FTTA). Our Hybrid assemblies include genuine Corning® fiber and pure copper stranded power cables.  They are made only in the USA by highly trained technicians.  Our assemblies come fully tested and ready for immediate installation. This fiber is suitable for Outdoor use and includes a spiraling stainless-steel armor jacketed with an OSP UV-rated PE jacket.  The jacket used for our hybrid assemblies is also UV rated so it can be exposed to direct sunlight.

We will keep you informed of your order status from start to finish so you can plan your installation accordingly.  You will receive an order confirmation immediately, a ship date within 24 hours, and tracking information once your custom assembly ships out.

When we receive your custom order, we build the assembly to your exact specifications using premium components including Corning® glass or equivalent. Your assembly will be made in the USA by highly skilled technicians under strict quality control and comes to you fully tested and ready for immediate installation.  We can guarantee your fiber assembly will arrive quickly and exceed your expectations.  Our experts can also help you choose the right assembly for your application.

Typical Outdoor (OSP) Direct Burial Rated Micro Armored Jacket Applications:

Our Outdoor (OSP) Direct Burial Ultra Thin Armored Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Assemblies utilize Micro Armor Fiber™. A revolutionary designed fiber optic cable that provides a perfect solution for your fiber optic installs and usage.  Instead of a traditional interlocking armor, it utilizes a stainless steel coil technology.  This allows for the cable to remain extremely flexible while also being crush and rodent resistant.  Micro Armor Fiber™ features the smallest outer diameter compared to conventional armored fiber optic cable in size and flexibility.  Its light weight and great flexibility makes pulling and installation faster and easier.  These assemblies are typically up to 65 percent smaller in diameter and 75 percent lighter than the traditional aluminum interlocking armor cable.  These assemblies provide a perfect combination of strong armor and maximum bend radius.

Choosing a direct burial rated jacket helps save time and money in outdoor applications where conduit is necessary, or in industrial environments which require extra protection. Although this option is priced higher than standard indoor/outdoor distribution cable that needs to be ran inside conduit, it outweighs its overall price when compared the cost of purchasing conduit and then having to pull the cable through it.  This outdoor (OSP) armored cable has a heavy duty polyethylene (PE) UV and water proof jacket and water blocking aramid yarn strength members surrounding the fiber optic strands.

Our pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies are perfect for headend termination to a fiber backbone and intra-building backbones. It's perfect for trenches or underground installation where rodent chew damage is a concern, overhead lashed to a guy wire, or secured to a building or other permanent outdoor structure. The drawback of outdoor (OSP) cable is that it is mandated at a maximum of 50 feet run indoors due to fire-code regulations.

Standard QuickTreX® Hybrid Assembly Manufacturing Features:

  • Fast Custom ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing in the USA. 2-millimeter color coded or sequentially labeled furcation tubing is installed on each strand for easy identification and extra durability before, during, and after the pull.
  • Heat shrink tubing and glue set is used at the transition from the jacket to the furcation tubing providing superior strength and strain relief while pulling the assembly.
  • Heat shrink tubing will be used where the power cables exit the main jacket.
  • Connectors inside the basket are staggered for less bulk and more flexibility.
  • Each connector is individually plastic wrapped to prevent contamination by pulling lubricants and/or other contaminants.
  • Each assembly includes a wrap around-label on both ends of the assembly which will include the QuickTreX® part number and individual serial number.
  • Each Assembly includes a full test report. During our testing process all fiber ends are visually inspected with a fiberscope of 400 power or better for surface defects including, cracking, pitting, and scratches, on the glass surface of the connector. All connector ends are then tested utilizing a professional grade Loss Test Set.
  • The test report is saved in our database for 1 year and can be requested at any time.
  • Pulling Eyes (pulling baskets) if equipped are made from super strong polyethylene mesh and feature a free-spinning buckle to eliminate twisting of the cable during the pull. Heat shrink tubing is used at:
       1. Where the basket meets with the turnbuckle (pull eye hook)
       2. Where the basket ends and connects with the cable jacket to prevent snags and promote a smooth pull.

Note: All assemblies 100ft and over will be placed on a spool for easy deployment of cable. Assemblies under 100ft will be neatly air spooled.
