This is an Outdoor gel-filled cable which provides extra protection against water penetration. Its dry absorbent polymers eliminate water migration in cable interstices. This fiber is designed for harsh environments that are subject to wide temperature variations. It has a rugged UV resistant jacket, and has premium optical fibers Outdoor cables are filled with a water blocking jell and are rated for almost all outdoor applications. Loose tube cables are especially recommended if the interbuilding conduit system is likely to fill with water. This has an all dielectric design which eliminates system grounding problems. This cable is suitable for underground installation, overhead lashed to a guy wire, or secured to a building or other permanent outdoor structure. The drawback of the gel-filled cable is that it is mandated at a maximum of 50 feet run indoors due to fire-code regulations.

Great custom terminated fiber
Great product (custom terminated fiber with an eye for pulling), OK communication while the order was processing. I hadn’t seen an update in a little while and my project suddenly became urgent so I called to get a status and expedite my order, while support isn’t 24/7 the person that took a message was friendly and I got an email the next morning with the latest status and delivery options. I had what I needed a couple days later, it was exactly as described and worked perfectly.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
