Why Use a Type B (Key Up to Key Up) MPO/MTP® Coupler?
Type B MPO/MTP® couplers utilize a Key Up to Key Up orientation that reverses fiber positions between connected MPO/MTP® assemblies. This polarity method is commonly used in parallel optics applications where proper transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) lane alignment is required.
Type B couplers are frequently deployed in 40G, 100G, 200G, and 400G multimode fiber networks, helping ensure proper connectivity between transceivers, MPO/MTP® trunks, and patching systems in modern data center environments.

Great custom terminated fiber
Great product (custom terminated fiber with an eye for pulling), OK communication while the order was processing. I hadn’t seen an update in a little while and my project suddenly became urgent so I called to get a status and expedite my order, while support isn’t 24/7 the person that took a message was friendly and I got an email the next morning with the latest status and delivery options. I had what I needed a couple days later, it was exactly as described and worked perfectly.
