Indoor/Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable is perfect for connecting the networks of two buildings through the use of an underground conduit, headend termination to a fiber backbone, termination of fiber rack systems, multi-floor deployment where select fibers are used at each floor, or intra-building backbones. This fiber is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, so there is no 50 foot fire code requirement traditionally found with outdoor (OSP) cable. This indoor/outdoor cable has a water blocking aramid yarn strength member surrounding the fiber optic strands and a UV resistant outer jacket making it a very versatile and perfect choice for a large variety of installations. This cable can be installed and left exposed in outdoor locations where blunt force or rodent chew damage is not a concern. This fiber optic cable includes a riser rated jacket which is Riser rated cable is a cable that is suited to go in non-plenum spaces and between multiple floors of buildings. Usually, riser cables are installed in between floors, and in walls of buildings. They can also be installed in areas that do not pose danger in case of a fire.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!

Great custom terminated fiber
Great product (custom terminated fiber with an eye for pulling), OK communication while the order was processing.
